Getting Ready for Pride and My Personal Stance
In today's political climate it is no longer enough to sit by the sidelines with your beliefs. Gone are the days of "don't ask don't tell" when it comes to mentioning or discussing politics and view points with friends, family, and even strangers. We need to make people feel included with their beliefs, so that they may find their people, and the world can understand that there are many view points and many ways to feel. We are not all monsters with an outward facing facade masking our ideologically beliefs.
I've already shared my thoughts on immigration before, and with the upcoming PRIDE season, I wanted to say that I am here as an ally, to any and all of you. I'm here as a safe person to confide in or talk to, and my home is a safe space, full of support in the form of shoulders to lean on and cats and dogs to snuggle. My blog is a place to come and know that you will not be left out or discriminated against, whatsoever.
I am an ally, a friend, and I support you this month and all months, no matter your preference.
