"If we were meant to stay in one place we'd have roots instead of feet"
It is with great emotion that I make an announcement... Emotions of excitement, nerves, stress, elatement, and sadness have filled me since the news of this possibility came around. Clearly, I'm not pregnant, but, our newlywed lives are about to flip upside down...
WE'RE MOVING TO SAN FRANCISCO !!!
THE LAND OF FOG AND HILLS AND PAINTED LADIES!
With that, we'll be moving the end of December, just after our birthdays and holidays, and ready to start 2018 on a brand new foot (here's hoping I get some pretty new shoes to wear into the new year too) . I've loved all the friends I've made in DC, and especially the blogging groups that have welcomes me with open arms. I've been here for about 4 years now, and while I thought it would only be a year or two, I've truly grown to love DC and everyone I've met along my journey.
But not to fret, my DC based-babes; we're keeping our house that we bought in NE and renting it out on our fave, AirBnB, and have plans to come back for friend's weddings, vacations, and just to check on our home. We currently have plans to move back and raise our family here, but without children and with insatiable wanderlust it seemed like an opportunity we could not turn down.
Want to know more? Feel free to ask me. We'll be taking a cross-country journey with our pets and we're excited to learn more about lengthy moving, traveling with pets, and all our stops along the way!
